Lead and execute investment projects safely, on time, on budget, and in line with Henkel’s Project Management Framework
Manage all technical and engineering aspects of assigned projects in the European region
Drive all project phases - from feasibility and concept development to execution, commissioning, start-up, hand-over and project closure, including lessons learned
Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks, resolving and escalating issues as appropriate
Coordinate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and transparency
Facilitate ongoing best practice exchange between sites and the regional engineering group to strengthen sustainability knowledge and capabilities
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Chemistry
Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Engineering, preferably in CAPEX investment projects within an industrial process related environment
Strong project management skills, including experience with relevant tools and methodologies
High degree of self-motivation, autonomy, and flexibility in a dynamic international environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels and functions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, CAD applications
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
Willingness to travel across Europe up to 30% of the time, depending on project assignments
